On this day the Lord has made . . .

As I was driving home from the grocery store I heard a man on the radio ask what we were leaving our children/grandchildren. He mentioned how he would choose, over any amount of money, the writings from his grandfather . . . if he had left any.

So, I have determined to create a diary/journal of what happened to me on this day(s) the Lord has granted me.

given over

Coming into work today I was listening to the radio. Grace To You with John MacArthur

John mentioned how God will give us over to our immoral desires. I always associated that with men but this morning I realized that it happens to women too. Take for example how women today are proudly marching glorifying in their ability to kill their children. Women have lost their true nature as nurturers and embraced killing instead. They have fallen so far down that path that they've lost their true nature.

Notes from listening:

They did not honor Him as God.

Romans 1 God reveals Himself in creation

Romans 2 God reveals Himself in conscience, moral law

This is not enough knowledge to save man. Romans 1:18 suppress the truth in unrighteousness

Man in his nature is corrupt. Romans 1:19 – His nature has been clearly seen. They are without excuse.

Romans 1:21 even though they know God. They did not honor Him as God. Their heart was darkened. They wind up in sexual lusts, dishonoring their bodies, Acts 14,
Exchange the truth of God for a lie. They reject the light of truth. They believe a lie. Romans 1:26 (leads with women who are instinctively nurtures – but they lose their nature and become depraved.)
[I had not associated this happening to women. But this explains their glorying in killing their children.]

1 Corinthians 1:18 the word of the cross, to those who are perishing is foolishness. Man in his natural condition is not going to believe that Christ can save. But to us who are being saved this gospel becomes the power of God to salvation. 19: I will destroy the wisdom of the wise. 23 we preach Christ crucified. 24 for those who are the called. 27 but God has chosen 28 God has chosen 29 so that no man can boast 30 by His doing you are in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 2:5 power of God is where our faith stands. 14: spiritual appraised so the natural man can not understand them Acts 17:30 God commands repent everyone. God has appointed to judge everyone
