On this day the Lord has made . . .

As I was driving home from the grocery store I heard a man on the radio ask what we were leaving our children/grandchildren. He mentioned how he would choose, over any amount of money, the writings from his grandfather . . . if he had left any.

So, I have determined to create a diary/journal of what happened to me on this day(s) the Lord has granted me.

259

The new number is 259.

How come they don't invent a pill that will simply take away the craving for food? I mean, this pill is doing that but it is hard on your body. There are lots of other things it does too. I'm not taking the pill on the weekend and I immediately noticed the difference. I'm back to continual thoughts about food.

Yesterday while picking up a towel I noticed the first finger on my left hand hurt. Seconds later the first knuckle was swollen. It hurts!!!! I took Mary garage sale shopping and did really well til about 11:00. Then the left hip started giving me pain and I had to sit down.

Today however, I haven't taken any pain medicine and I haven't had any pain. Of course, I haven't done a lot of standing. We went to breakfast at Harrahs Diamond Brunch and the rest of the time I've spent on the couch or in my chair with the heating pad.  Right now I am taking a break from washing 4 plates.

Mainly I'm writing to make note of the new number!!! And to make note of the new symptom of my finger hurting.

  • God thank you for the gift of my co-workers who have shown me that it is good to show that I am a Christian. It is more than okay, it is imperative that my faith shows, so that others can come to know you. Please make me into a shining light for you. Give me the words, and your wisdom, and please don't let me cause anyone to stumble.
  • God please be with my family/friends as they go through this time in their lives. Please give them strength and courage and wisdom and faith Lord.
  • God please guide the leaders of the world.
  • God please heal my children.
  • Please heal those that have asked for prayer.
