Will |
Will fell from a second story in his house. His parents went immediately to God and asking everyone they know for prayer.
The prayer below is one that a co-worker posted on Will's CaringBridge page and the prayer is so powerful and says so much. I don't ever want to forget this prayer and how it glorifies God.
Dear Lord, Father of peace, love, hope and charity. We bless your name and with this breath we take the time to remind ourselves and loved ones that you are Holy! We ask that your will be done in the face of adversity, let our faith grow in you as we wait for your miracle to happen. You have told us that all things work together for the good of those that love you and are called according to your purpose. You have also said that "If we being evil know how to give good gifts, how much more you would give." Right now Lord we are not asking for money, wealth, or fame only for you so show forth your mercy and allow "Will" walk out of the hospital in his right mind, having experienced your love. We submit this prayer to you knowing that no doctor or medicine can compare to your will. Please have your way with him showing the doctors, family, friends, and loved ones that you are still in control and that we need you like the very air we breathe. This I pray with a sincere heart to God almighty in the name of Jesus. Amen. ~Anthony Williams

This is the prayer left on Will's page today:
May the Lord continue to heal little Will and give him peace. May the Lord calm Will during this very confusing and potentially scary time in his life. Lord, help Will to cooperate with the medical staff in aiding his healing process. Guide the doctors and nurses that work with Will each day. Bless them and guide their minds and hands with your healing power. Be with Tom and I as we learn about this process. Help us to take it one day, even one moment, at a time. We know your will will be done. We thank you for the miracles you have been working through the past weeks. Please continue to heal Will and bring him to a full recovery. We ask all this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
