Retarget YourselfWe work hard for a lot of things. Some are worthy of our efforts--others, not so much.
There's also no doubt that what we give ourselves to achieve mentally and physically is also important to us, or at least a high priority. Productive employees understand this all too well.
Yet do we "labor and strive" for our very hope and faith in God?
Your relationship with God is not to be based on works; but, is there a way you can retarget everything you do so that it feeds and nourishes your faith? If you do, not only will your intimacy with God bloom, but God will work through you to help others more effectively place their hope in Him.
