Today Dr. McGee spoke of how God provided a place of refuge for people who sinned in the Old Testament. More specifically, today he was speaking about the story of Saul and David. How a general of Saul was tricked into leaving Hebron, a city of refuge.

God had provided a place where people could go and be safe while they waited for a judge that would hear their case - the city of refuge. Which sounds a whole lot like what we do now. We are safe in the refuge of Christ.
Every day I am more and more amazed on how much the Old Testament points to Jesus. Every single verse speaks of Christ. This is something a person might never know if they leaned on their own wisdom. I certainly didn't know - til now.
