thankful for many reasons

Tonight I bought a car, a new car. I didn't want to buy a car. I did not want any more car payments but it was just time.

I put off and put off until I really couldn't put it off any longer.

Saturday I was driving home, and as I was driving on the highway, I went to go into a different lane and as I crossed over the line, I felt something funny and heard something hit as I pulled back over into my lane. I forgot about it until Monday as I was heading back to my truck after work. I saw the chunk missing from my tire. That was the noise and the feel and the thunk. Now, I know that isn't a reason to buy a new car but couple this with the way the front end is wobbly and the brakes weren't working and when I sped up, the way the motor would sound . . . it was time to retire the red truck.

I thank God over and over and over again for protecting my family and me as we drove in the red truck. I thank God that I'm able to afford a new car now. Thank you God. Thank you.

This truck, 2013 Chevy Equinox, is huge. Now I can take Mia and Luke and Christian and Wyatt to church. :)

Thank you God. Thank you. Please Lord, protect us all, as we drive in this new truck.
