Ron Evans, from work, stopped by my desk the other day and he was talking about 1 John. He said, "have you ever noticed how many times John speaks of knowing?" He also spoke of how God is light.

What act of kindness have you done? (head on desk)

Yesterday, Doug and Bethany Pearson came by our Bible Study to talk of their work in India.

Here's the letter I sent to them after they left:

Something I wanted to say today and I didn't get it said . . .

What you are both doing, and all that you are giving up, can you imagine, when we are all standing together in front of our God? Can you imagine the crowd of people that will be there beside you - BECAUSE of the work you have done for them? I'm getting chills just imagining that scenerio.

The preacher who lost his home and his church, is there something I could do for him? Is there a Bible in his language that I could send with you? Or I could give you money so that you could buy him a Bible over there in his language?

Dr. Vernon McGee is who I listen to every morning. He is walking us through the Bible in 5 years. I'm sure you've heard of him. He died back in the 80's but he brings such a wealth of knowledge, he explains things that I overlook. Actually, I would never ever ever have come to notice 99% of the things he shows me in the Word. I know that they, the Thru the Bible group, offer this series in all kinds of languages. ttb.org Is this something I could help send over?

Also, TWR, has tons of resources for other countries.

I guess I'm just saying. If you know of someone that I can help. Please let me know.

I don't have the legs to stand on for very long, but I have other resources, since God has blessed me with a wonderful job.

Also, back to ttb.org, since the program is something you listen to - that would help the women who can not read.

Thank you both for the work you do for our Lord (and for all of us). Because of you two, and the way God has blessed you with the gift of loving people, His children will number more than the stars. :) 

After I sent this it just kept eating at me that I don't have anyone that I have brought to the Lord. I've probably pushed far more away than anything. Hopefully God will show me where I can help? OR, I need to quit worrying about it and just know that He will use me as He sees fit. I probably won't even know, I am that obtuse.
