I'm at work already this morning, but since it is too early to begin work, I'm cruising Facebook. When I came across this picture it reminded me of my happiness:
"As you draw close to God, He will draw close to you and show you His great love and blessing . . . "
Last night He showed me His love and He allowed me to join in the celebration of St John's birth right there in my own room.
Our God is the most loving and He shows His love in so many ways each and every day.
Trinity Anglican Parish 6/23/13 |
This new church Charlotte made me go to (i'm kidding. i love it there) uses the Book of Common Prayers from 1928. The prayers are wonderful. There are many for healing and for strength. I do my normal little words throughout the day but come time that I am home and near the book, my prayers become mighty and beautiful. Okay, that's not really true and we both know it isn't the prayers but God who is mighty :) and beautiful.
