Chip Ingram's Coffee Break for June 2013 has given me a lot to think on.
A paraphrase (but I wanted to get something written down) We will understand Grace when we are in Heaven . . . what it took to get there, to get into Heaven. We will appreciate the new earth, Heaven, because we will know what it took to get us there.
Chip listed some verses/promises about Heaven:

Chip mentioned, "What one word describes what God is calling you to focus on." Chip's word was relationship. I think that would be my word too. I want to focus on getting to know my children better. I want to listen to them, hear who they have become. Also focus on others too. I need to learn to shut my mouth and just listen. Maybe my word would be listen instead of relationship? I think by listening relationships will be enhanced.
Heaven by Randy Alcorn is a book I want to get that Chip recommended. He said that Randy researched what the Bible says about Heaven and went into depth - something that very few people have ever done. He recommends the book and after listening to him describe what depths Randy went to - I want to read.
I also want to make sure Beth hears this CD starting at Track 8.
Heaven is going to be wonderful!
