On this day the Lord has made . . .

As I was driving home from the grocery store I heard a man on the radio ask what we were leaving our children/grandchildren. He mentioned how he would choose, over any amount of money, the writings from his grandfather . . . if he had left any.

So, I have determined to create a diary/journal of what happened to me on this day(s) the Lord has granted me.

sunday sunday

Christian woke up at 7:45. I thought to myself that if he goes back to bed, and Wyatt doesn't wake up, then we'll go to the late church, but if Wyatt wakes up in the next . . . and then, just that quickly, Wyatt woke up.

So we made it to the early church at 8:30 am. Oh yes, I am that good, and oh yes, we did not brush our teeth. We just got up. Put our clothes on. I grabbed a muffin for each of them, and a juice box, and out the door we went! I figure, get them there half asleep, and they'll be too sleepy to be too argumentative.

They were very good boys at church. Actually Christian didn't say a word, and while Wyatt did wiggle quite a bit, but he really was quite good for a little 5 year old boy sitting in a pew.

After church we decided to go to the Antioch Park in Kansas. That is such a great park! We had fun.

After the park we went to Winsteads and had breakfast/lunch. The boys had chicken strips, french fries, chocolate milk and a chocolate shake for dessert. I had a cheeseburger, onion rings and their wonderful limeade.

It was a good day! I love those boys.

Did I mention that I got to see Kyler too? Lindsay and Craig got home from the lake at Warsaw a little after 2. I waited until Kyler woke up and then I took Nala back home. Lindsay made Kyler wait for his bottle until I got there. That was so sweet.

I am so lucky.

Thank you Lord!
