vacation

This last week was spent in Vegas with Richard visiting some of the sites of the popular television shows on like Pawn Shop and American Restoration and Tanked. We also stopped by the Pinball Museum and the Hoover Dam. Had some wonderful food. I discovered crepes at the Paris buffet and rediscovered coconut gelato at the Rio buffet. We stayed at my favorite hotel in the world - The Palazzo.

I can honestly say that even though I was in the biggest gambling area and the one place I shouldn't be in that the Holy Spirit protected me and my urge for spending all my time and all my money on machines - the urge was absent. I had zero urge. I had to force myself to play at the Palazzo as a way of paying back the hotel for giving me the hotel rooms for free. The hotel got back $350. Which actually now that I think about it wasn't fair. I should have spent more. They gave me the hotel room and $200. I know the rooms go for well over $100 each night (sometimes the quote is $300 a night).

The good thing is that they won't invite me back for free. I will have broken that cycle.

Well, good so that I won't be 'forced' to gamble but bad because I love their suites.
