On this day the Lord has made . . .

As I was driving home from the grocery store I heard a man on the radio ask what we were leaving our children/grandchildren. He mentioned how he would choose, over any amount of money, the writings from his grandfather . . . if he had left any.

So, I have determined to create a diary/journal of what happened to me on this day(s) the Lord has granted me.

not writing every day

Well, I'm not doing that great of a job of writing something that happened that was good every day. I do write on Facebook each day. I post scripture each day. I figure that way at least something good and truthful is written once a day.

Yesterday was Tuesday. The weather was warm. I was at work. Charlotte and I ate lunch at Cinzetti's. Lindsay called me on our way back from lunch. Callie had just gotten a crown on a tooth. She did really well at the dentist. I was busy at work. I love being busy. So it was a good day and good things happened.

Today I woke up at 3am. I'm sitting on the couch listening to music on YouTube. Beth had posted a song that helped her. I'm going to do a screenshot of what she wrote. She is missing Emily. Beth helped me so much after Emily died. It should have been the other way around of course. But what she said healed my heart. She said that she wouldn't ask Jesus to send Emily back to her no matter how much this hurts. She knows Emily is in His arms and happy.

God has given me so many wonderful Holy Spirit-filled friends. Without Janice and Beth, and their parents, in high school where would I be?

  • God thank you for the gift of my co-workers who have shown me that it is good to show that I am a Christian. It is more than okay, it is imperative that my faith shows, so that others can come to know you. Please make me into a shining light for you. Give me the words, and your wisdom, and please don't let me cause anyone to stumble.
  • God please be with my family/friends as they go through this time in their lives. Please give them strength and courage and wisdom and faith Lord.
  • God please guide the leaders of the world.
  • God please heal my children.
  • Please heal those that have asked for prayer.
