Obviously writing one good thing every day in my blog is not a thing I will be doing. I will just stick with posting scripture each day. That is good.
But this last week was busy. I taught a class with a whole bunch of people and it was pretty successful. It was beginning 3d MicroStation. Talk about stress! I'm glad it is over. They say two classes a year is what we have to do as members of the Power Users Group.
Courtney mentioned that Odie may have to have trachea surgery if his trachea doesn't strengthen. I want to remember him in prayer every single day. That little boy needs so much but if his trachea would straighten up then he and his parents would be spared quite a bit.
I went to the eye doctor and had quite a few diagnoses. The 'freckle' in the back of my eye seems to be something the doctor wants to watch closely. My 'point of convergence' is off. Something about the muscles in my eyes having trouble. That's why my eyes tire and they shake. Also, I now have astigmatism of the right eye. (After surgery - I didn't have astigmatism in that eye before surgery.) Two things were diagnosed with regard to the dry eyes I am suffering from. I can't remember the proper words. But this explains why I am having so much trouble seeing.
Dr. Curry finally gave me something to help with the panic attacks while driving. I won't be taking it though. I read the sheet that comes with the drug and NO! I will have to invest in Uber and I will have to learn to ask for help in getting to and from places.
My son is going to turn 40 in two days. That is crazy :) I can still clearly remember being at the McKern's for Super Bowl Sunday starting labor with him. I asked him if he wanted to get together today for lunch to celebrate his day early. He said no. It is Chiefs day.
Lindsay and Callie have called and talked with me this weekend. Callie was telling me about getting some slime at school. I think she won it and she wants to bring it to my house. I know why :) her Momma doesn't allow it at her house. Lindsay sent pictures of their staircase that she and Craig have been working on.
Friday I worked from home because of the icy roads. I haven't ventured outside this weekend because it is so cold. Winter has really arrived. Did I mention that I do not like winter?!?
On this day the Lord has made . . .
As I was driving home from the grocery store I heard a man on the radio ask what we were leaving our children/grandchildren. He mentioned how he would choose, over any amount of money, the writings from his grandfather . . . if he had left any.
So, I have determined to create a diary/journal of what happened to me on this day(s) the Lord has granted me.

Prayer List
- Thank you Father thank you.
- Lord, extend the kingdom of your Son.
- O Merciful God, who hast made all men, and hatest nothing that thou hast made, nor desirest the death of a sinner, but rather that he should be converted and live; Have mercy upon all who know thee not as thou are revealed in the Gospel of thy Son. Take from them all ignorance, hardness of heart, and contempt of thy Word; and so fetch them home, blessed Lord to thy fold, that they may be one flock under one shepherd, Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, world without end. Amen.
- God please take the blinders from my children's heart and eyes. Please give them the gift of faith. Lord God, faith in you is so comforting and brings so much joy. Thank you!
- God please bless Michael, Lindsay, and their families with faith, wisdom, and compassion. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- God thank you for the gift of my co-workers who have shown me that it is good to show that I am a Christian. It is more than okay, it is imperative that my faith shows, so that others can come to know you. Please make me into a shining light for you. Give me the words, and your wisdom, and please don't let me cause anyone to stumble.
- God please be with my family/friends as they go through this time in their lives. Please give them strength and courage and wisdom and faith Lord.
- God please guide the leaders of the world.
- God please heal my children.
- Please heal those that have asked for prayer.
